Nice one...

Great footage.... Thanks for sharing. What made me smile is that for all this high tech there is still a man required sitting on his butt to hold a a line while projectile handling. THAT is trueling amazing. :)

RE: Argentine Ships for 1949

"The Project 725 tanker is fairly small but is cheaper and quicker to build than a larger tanker and hopefully won't make such a big target for RSAF bombers and RSAN submarines." Hey, that's been a long time ago. :P

Royal Navy Ships for 1948

Questions: Will you operate jets from those carriers? If so you may need powerful catapults. Are they available? I may have missed them browsing your sim stats.... Those cruisers will reuse those gunboat turres - whole turret - or "just" reuse the guns but with new mountings (elevation etc.)? So no way making the autoloader or any other modification? (Btw, is it possible at all to modify a gun so much you can have a heavy autoloader from a standard gun/rifle?)

Yes, indeed. We are not too far from the Eifel. However, for millions of years there has been no vulcanic activity anymore in the Eifel. So there is little to fear. All we actually have are very minor earthquakes every other year. They are harly heavy enough to make your living room lamp swing from the roof, but they are there. Their origin lies in the so-called Rheingraben, but there is not enough activity to cause any harm, actually.

Sorry to hear about the damage those fires did but as said by others before - your family made it out in time and that's all that counts in the end. Regarding nature striking back I'm surprised several of you are in areas where it could happen any other season. For me and my family this really is nothing to worry about. Although living in an area with forest neaby, our village is far enough away to be in danger. Water also is no threat as the little water we have flowing through our town will ne...

Ardeltwerke Leichtepanzer – Prototype

Nice drawing. Question: Will 380hp suffice to run that vehicle that fast? It's not really heavy weight, but 380hp isn't that much either. Just curious... Weight and power reminds me of the Skoda T24 but not sure about suspension and these kind of things...

Happy New Year!

It's been a long way since 2003 when we started, but we made it into 2016 alive - without a restart of the Sim. That's really great. Someboy should check if this doesn't deserve mentioning in the Guiness Book of Records... Anyways... I wish all of you a happy new year 2016. May you be blessed, lucky and enjoying your live. All the best to you and those you love. Cheers! HoOmAn

French News, Q3/1946

Actually, your request offered a nice excuse to re-read some of those old news and stories to find hooks to link those tank descriptions to. So in fact, when you search for it, you will find indeed ABS war news about the battle that Centurion fought in e.g. As for those new tanks - I like the drawings a lot. However, I wonder if those tanks aren't a decade ahead in concept. But the again, probably not given that your AMX-40 probably is a modified T-54 copy. Anyways, I always enjoy good pictures....

Spammer in Aisle Three

Quoted from "Rooijen10" Quoted Bad news - if you block them there, no unregistered visitor can post anymore. Bad news? Isn't that what we want? How can that be bad news? ?( Quoted Sadly this is some work to do and time consuming Yes. Having seen logged off how many places there were one the board where I could still post, it would take quite a bit of time to sort that out. I think it is bad news because we do had guests in the past who contributed or raised questions before signing in - or so I...

Spammer in Aisle Three

Quoted from "Brockpaine" Quoted from "HoOmAn" To me it seems we can get rid of these spammers subfolders only, if one takes the action to check all boards where guests shall not be allowed to post have the checkbox set on "deny". Sadly this is some work to do and time consuming... You aren't kidding. :P Though I should note that I was fiddling with those settings last night, when Walter was playing "unregistered user", and he could still post in subfolders that I had just tried to 'fix'. So I'm...
