New ships in 1944

No new designs, at least not in Quarter 1.

The only remarkable thing probably is the launch of the RSAN Thjazi rebuild that will alter the ships design by quite a margin, turning her form an AV into a CVE as discussed here (http://wesworld.jk-clan.de/index.php?pag…&threadID=10656).

There is a facet of the SAE Sim reports that has always intrigued me; the current report reads:

Quoted

Flexible factories

25,497ts of material produced this quarter (26 factories).

Twenty six factories would, under nominal circumstances, produce 26,000 tons. Is there a reason that the SAE's factories are under-performing? It would seem as if you are short-changing yourself. ?(

Feedback

First of all, thanks for checking my report. Your comment made me check it again too and so I discovered an error in my report I could correct now.

To reply to your original question: No, I'm not selling myself short - although my wording is not good. My spreadsheet calculates with 26,000ts for 26 factories. Regarding my report the values should add up like

Material produced + scrap yard + transferred material - material used = material transferred to next quarter

with a twist because my spreadsheet calculates

Material used (27,333ts) - scrap yard (241ts) - transferred material (1,595ts) = material my factories need to produce minimum (25,497ts)

As the latter usually is not equal to the total amount of material a given number of factories produces (with given factories output (26,000ts) > material my factories need to produce minimum) the rest automatically is the amount I transfer to the next quarter (503ts).

However, all this it did not for my Q1/44 report which is what I corrected now.

Hope this helps...
