The government of the Philippines would like to express its gratitude for the overwhelming response from Australia, Canada, India, Nordmark, and other nations. The port facilities at Manila, Butuan and San Fernando are free for the use of the anti-piracy forces.

If it would be possible for the various forces to generally conform with our movements, or otherwise coordinate their operations with the AdF, it would greatly expedite our search for these criminals.

The office of Admiral of the Dutch Pacific Fleet, Vice-Admiral Maarten Winters, made the following announcement today :

The Koninklijke Marine will assume responsibility for the Celebes Sea, outside of Filipino territorial waters of course. The KM will be dispatching Captain Van Spiek by seaplane to the Philippines to serve as our liaison. Rear-Admiral Wassenaer Obdam , Commander of the forces assigned to Borneo will favorably consider requests to conduct search operations in a particular quadrant of the South China Sea.
