Byzantean navy

The republic of Byzantium possesses a small navy for patrol purposes consisting of 12 subchasers and 9 small patrol boats. Atlantean CMB type motor torpedo boats have also been aquired to provide a more agressive deterance. Byzantium also possesses two floatplane carriers but these are of world war one vintage and of little use other than training floatplane pilots. The focus now is on a possible small blue water navy consisting of torpedo boats, patrol boats and mine sweepers.

Navy units
Floatplane carrier Arrecife
Floatplane carrier Tarrafal
10 P class escorts
12 subchasers
40 Coastal Motor torpedo boats
9 motor patrol boats (Thornycroft type with 2 MG)
18 infantry launches

Arrecife class Float Plane Tender

(forgot that these were transferred some time in the 30's) Both these ships are now quite worn and occationally provide training for floatplane pilots. It was speculated that some sort of replacement ship/s would relegate these two vessels to stationary repair ships for floatplane squadrons or some other task but ultimately they were decommissioned and sold into civilian service
