Filipino Ships

Added an image of PRS Fernando to the 'Ships of the Marina de Filipinas' thread in the Infrastructure forum.

Well, the size ratios of that picture does remind me a bit of that odd heavily armored CDS design I had.

Whats your email? I'll send you a better pic of Cíudad Rodrigo as well.

Saturday, September 18th 2004, 3:58pm

Added a new pic of crucero de segunda clase Cíudad Rodrigo - thanks Gavin! :)

Sunday, September 19th 2004, 3:57pm

...And a new stats sheet for C.R. as well.

Another update

Added complete statsheet for the ex-Italian Indomido-class destroyers.

Added Panabo to the Encyclopedia.

Tuesday, October 5th 2004, 9:16pm

Tweaked the stats for PRS Fernando to conform to the real-life Radetzky-class.

Also the SC-1-class subchaser was posted the other day...

Tweaked Fernando...AGAIN...

Finally got the correct freeboard. But that meant using the published power and range values gave a hull strength of 0.88...

So she now has the correct, historical dimensions, but 1/2 kt slow on speed, and 2000nm short on range...

Go figure!

Added the G100-class Gunboat to the Encyclopedia.

(Thanks to Walter for the SS201 'translation'! :) )

I kindly ask you to remove that picture again.

Also note:

The way you guys are copying my stuff without asking me is impertinent!

I have no problem with some small parts being used time and again such as boats or guns but now you´ve started to copy whole superstructures etc.

You better try to find your own style or I _really_ get angry about using my stuff. I may even use my own power to remove such pictures from the boards....

Cry "That´s not fair!" or "That´s censorship!" - I won´t care. At least you could have been so kind to ask for my permission before copying everything - at least - but you haven´t. I can´t say I like that kind of behaviour and no - I don´t feel honored.

I hope you got my point.

Out of curiousity, which South African ship had its superstructure copied?

Monday, November 8th 2004, 1:18am

The pic was drawn by Red Admiral, not me, but I'll take it down anyway, sorry 'bout that.
